There's nothing to do today How long did I wait Please turn on the radio Let's go to Mexico You got it Don't waste my time Needless to say it blew my mind To drive along the coast Seeking to keep the ship afloat Things swirl around inside my head Distracted all the time Always gonna carry that weight Riding all the lines Walking on thin ice Pain behind these shades Lost on mexican highway Listening to Morissey I guess I lost the track With my 60's black Cadillac I don't wear a sombrero Never went to a rodeo I mean it I'm against the grain Don't wanna follow the tourist lane I will never walk the line I ain't commit a crime

I’ve been waiting on the wrong side of the road for a long time Hitchiking in vain for the ideal carriage and a good ride I tried old fashion lorries, family sedans, the faster Ferraris, (even) a drop-top Bentley ! I so often asked the driver to stop to drop me off at the next service ressort Then I suddenly found How to reach the speed of light A rocket launched through the sky That leaves, white, trails behind… Away for a while, I soon realized I missed home I search on the auto-pilot a programm to come back But there wasn’t any ! I travelled so far, zizaged through the stars, I regained control as I… Definitely crashed myself on milky way ! Yet I was so glad to have found How to reach the speed of light A rocket launched through the sky That leaves, white, trails behind… A rocket launched through the sky That leaves, white, trails behind…

This was really fun to be there Meeting the number one I was so impressed and so excited That I missed the call I’m such a loser, let’s move on ! I was hypnotised by your eyes I always been there by your side But all the feelings are gone Now it sounds like no fun to stay there I’m no longer in love Some lines are sacrosanct I always feel so wrong With all your secrets, I’m done I know when you started something You always promise me the moon I won’t listen to one more word I’d rather be crying on the kitchen floor It’s going nowhere let it go I know when you started something You always promise me the moon Under the bright red moonlight You let me down I still stand out like a neon sign On a starless night All of a sudden there’s hope I know when you started something You always promise me the moon Don't promise me the moon

Smiling faces, they’re all look the same, On the pages of these ancient magazines Pictures from the « good old days » Bring me back to times I can’t forget They wish me luck for what’s in front of us I guess it’s gonna be a rocking hard century Or more… and now I feel a bit bored… Shall I dare to say, what is that all about ? Oh what a lovely day But my lifetime… it’s running wild ! Shining rays’re breaking throught the roofing Ligthning up the rising dust in the attic A time capsule from the iron age… Dry is my mouth and now it hurts, Strangled is my throught I’m about to burst out… Shall I dare to say, what is that all about ? Oh what a lovely day But my lifetime… it’s running wild ! Smiling faces, they’re all look the same, On the pages of these ancient magazine They wish me luck for what’s in front of us I guess it’s gonna be a rocking hard century

You tell me to look for a job But home I want to stay Playing for my friends the fantasy of the day Stuck in a dream for a while, I can’t find a way to get out of my cloud You say I’d better get more than six feet from the couch I know that you won’t wait a whole lifetime for a change You say you gonna leave this smoothering mud In which I settled ! You can’t bear it anylonger… You‘ve packed you stuff today And say you gonna make it happen It’s a serious threat which freezes me to the bone Stuck on the couch for too long, Staring at you as you talk I don’t listen nor understand a single word I know that you won’t wait a whole lifetime for a change You say you gonna leave this smoothering mud In which I settled ! You can’t bear it anylonger…

True Romance 03:55
I go down the streets Reaching for a new heartbeat It’s kinda of neat There is plenty of souls to seek I fix my hat Cut myself some slack Or I’m gonna crack Go to the Clacson’s ball Enjoy the party all the way down In other word I’m gonna dance Under a trance Leading to a true romance Cavemen V hit the scene Playing to the Merseybeat Suddenly a lightening Strikes my head like a daydream Dressed to kill She’s such a thrill I wanna kiss her lips Got an X Ray Vision When I saw her having fun She rocks my world I invite her to dance At a first glance This is a true romance Hanging in or hanging out That’s what is all about We move to the sound I barely look at the crowd Oh bam bam bam ! Oh well, she had pierced my heart ! We can rockin’… We can rollin’… Rock & rollin’

It needed strength and self-denial to get this far where I’m now, A half life partly made of dreams to hide deeper my own sins and mistakes, But I’ve never quit the path I’m still walking on, Same old way that will lead me straight to the aim I've set myself. Say you want it, Please say it again... Don’t ever think you could fail ! You’ll only know at the end. Say you want it, Keep on say it again... This is the key of your will, A mantra has to be said. Shall I finally found this cool warm place and have a rest ? I sometimes, fear my aim is like a fading sun at the end of a day to remember. But sleep is a cunning thief and comforter is the night, I should be… woken up and back the road… it’s a long way...

Romeo's Glow 03:23
I’m alive Even if I’m tired I can’t explain the thoughts that cross my mind I don’t care About the mess we’ve been endured This is a self revelation soothing our bleeding hearts Romeo’s glow Whatever they said, can’t wait anymore Romeo’s glow Whatever it takes, I’ll get you home Romeo’s glow Finally meeting you at the hospital I swear to cherish you Sparks through the night Now everything’s alright, be mesmerized By your pretty eyes, There comes the hero, There he comes, here at night

Shall somebody break these chains that stuck me all around here It’s a silly situation and I don’t know how to get out of it I do believe that I will handle with that I know I’m stronger than that kind of rats Who pull on the trigger Then it makes a big huge sound as a bang ! If I want to break those chains I have to fight against my lack of will ´coz no one’s gonna do it for me It’s an helpless pray what a thrill ! I do believe that I will handle with that I know I’m stronger than that kind of rats Who pull on the trigger Then it makes a big huge sound as a bang !

How far I am from L.A. I ain’t living in a place by the bay Here it’s so sad and grey and much less glamourous No endless summer nor cocktails by the ocean No private beach at the door of my mansion I can only smell the stinky scent ot the warm pavement Writing songs with my old mates just to escape The blurry pictures of a bleak industrial landscape So my vision is all grey Then I dream about L.A. But I ain’t gone away Drinking cheap beer in my favorite bar None of my friend’s some kind of superstar There’s no fancy club to ease my mind I stay up all night Wondering if I’ll see the lights And lost myself in the city of Angels Playing rock’n’roll in a shity rehearsal space Driving miles in a dirty tour van So my vision is all grey I always dream about L.A. And hope someday I’ll get away

The lack of communication between you & I, It’s weighing a bit sometimes… It’s such an expensive contribution I have to pay More than ten times a day… When we don’t share the same views, Are we sentenced to be talking past in some common Useless conversations ? I wish I could tell you how it feels to feel the way I to today About distance and self-preservation… Required distance for self-preservation ! Your lack of imagination truely leads you to Some narrow two pole thinkings… You claim there’s no kind of evolution Out of what’s been written long ago… When we don’t share the same views, Are we sentenced to be talking past in some common Useless conversations ? I wish I could tell you how it feels to feel the way I to today About distance and self-preservation… Required distance for self-preservation !

I distinctly remember first time I saw her I was coming down the stairs as she opened the door Silent looks at the each others, I smelt her scent in the corridor I said :"Hello, it's on the first floor, I'm gonna fetch some tapes and come back as I can..." I didn't know who she was, I never saw her before I didn't jump in the water, we should have talked a bit more I only played those songs and made them dancing I didn't try my luck then I saw her leaving... A name give by a friend, was all I learned about her We drew plans for a meeting but it never worked, she was always busy I once saw her figure among the crowd on the high street She smiled, was it for me…? Then she looked away Don’t you find that funny ? I didn't cross the street nor hold her hand I didn't say a word nor give her a sign Did she know my name ? Did she understand ? What stupid questions came out of the blue...
